Beneath the flameOpens in a new tab. is an incredible fiction book that is not just about fire fighting. The book also brings to light the evil and love present in our world. If you start this book, you won’t be able to put it down until you are on the last page. The unique and engaging story, as well as the rich characters you will come across as you read this book, will fill you with excitement, tears, tension, and laughter. The texture, layering, and the carefully placed words used by the author are going to keep you engaged as you blaze through it. The author did a great job in helping readers see things from the perspective of the main character, Mitch. As you read through it, you will feel his pain, regrets, doubts, and other powerful emotions he felt.

Gregory Lee Renz, the man behind this amazing book is a decorated Fire Captain. During his career, he helped put out a lot of fires and saved lives. His involvement in the rescue of two boys from their burning basement just goes to show how brave he is. He received a series of awards while in service for his commitment to his profession and bravery. When asked to share the details of his dramatic rescues, he masterfully conveyed what happened in a captivating way.

Before writing this book, Gregory was an avid reader, who thought maybe he could put together a great novel. After several conferences, workshops, and creative writing courses, he was able to craft this amazing novel.

Beneath the flame, is an amazing story that evokes personal development and transformation and explore themes of love and family within the fire service. The story revolves around Mitch Garner, a young farmer weighed down by guilt and seeks to redeem himself. He faced loads of challenges, found love, and had to make an impossible decision.
The story is told in a strong, compassion filled voice. Master story teller Gregory Lee Renz did an awesome job in ensuring that each character has deep emotional and psychological layers.
